Workshops
What if I purchased a ticket and can't make it?
All workshops must be purchased in advance, we are working with perishable products for the majority of our workshops. If you are unable to attend an event, please see our Return/Refund policy for important timelines that impact your options.

What if there is bad weather for a workshop I purchased?
As an outdoor grower, we are very subject to the whims of Mother Nature, and she can be a force. If we must delay or cancel our workshops due to weather, we will do our best to reschedule our event, but should the alternate date not work out or the season runs out we will issue either a voucher for next season's workshop at the same value or a refund.
What should I wear to a workshop?
Outdoor events will provide uneven surfaces, weather, pests, and pollinators please make appropriate attire choices given the conditions you will be exposed to. In some workshops you will be working with sharp tools and pokey pines, we recommend close toed shoes incase someone drops something on your toes. If you have allergies, please ensure you are ready for anything you may face.

Do you ship? Only within the United States, obtaining clearance for international shipping is not cost effective at our scale.
How are your tubers cared for? During the growing season, we sanitize our snips between plants, and regularly sharpen tools to minimize damage and bacterial spread. Culling plants is not beyond us - when in doubt toss it out. In our cold climate we must dig up our clumps every season which gives us the opportunity to observe what is going on underground. During the divide, we regularly sanitize tools between clumps. We monitor moisture levels in our bins and check tubers frequently over the winter months. Prior to our sale we check for viable eyes, some may even sprout before shipping.
